Formerly DevChat. The local command is still devchat.
The agent stays on the screen.
Brompter runs Claude, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini beside the app you are building. Point at the interface. The screenshot, the element, and the diff stay in the same window.

The loop, in one window.
Show the agent the screen.
Drag a box on the running UI, freeze the page, or click an element. The screenshot and the markup travel with the prompt.
What else stays in the window.
Terminal
A shell in the workspace folder, including SSH, WSL, and Docker. A selection pastes into the chat as a chip with line numbers.
Worktrees
A long task can take its own git worktree, so parallel chats do not share one branch. Merge the branch back when the diff looks right.
Desktop
A normal window, an overlay on your local app, or a small bar that stays above other windows. The same UI in each.
On this machine
Sessions stay in a local data directory. You bring the model login. Brompter does not host the chat archive.
Desktop builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
The desktop app includes the local backend. Leave an email if you want a note when a new build is published.
Desktop release notes
Leave an email if you want a note when a new Windows, macOS, or Linux build is published.
Run it where the repo already is.
Solo is the plan you can use today: local sessions and the model login you already have. Hosted plans on the pricing page are not for sale yet.
