Reviewing work

Git and worktrees

See the branch, give a chat its own worktree, and merge it back when the agent is done.

Graph

Graph, under the search box, replaces the chat and pane lists with the active workspace’s commit history: coloured dots, branch lines, the branch name, the subject, and the author. Click Graph again to bring the lists back. The choice is remembered in this browser. It stays off until you turn it on.

A worktree per chat

Settings → Defaults → Worktree per chat gives each new chat its own chat/ branch and a sibling worktree, so parallel chats do not share one checkout. It is off by default. A folder that is not a git repository still opens in that folder. Deleting the chat removes a clean worktree. The branch and its commits stay.

After the agent finishes, Merge into checkout commits that chat’s worktree and merges the chat/ branch into the main checkout. Long-running tasks can also use a worktree from the worktree panel without turning the default on.
