Task router
Split a prompt into subtasks and send each one to a harness and model you choose.
The tree
Settings → Task Router opens an editor. Conditions can branch on complexity, task type, prompt length, whether an image is attached, a path glob, a keyword, or a random split. Leaves name the harness and model. A leaf left on “This chat” keeps the chat’s current harness.
Each routed message keeps the walk and shows it under the user bubble, including after reload. View opens that walk in the editor, read-only, with the taken path highlighted. Until you save a tree, Brompter can start from a complexity ladder: an easy, medium, and hard model.
Continuous loops
A loop is a graph of analyzer, planner, implementer, and reviewer nodes, with a task bucket the agent can grow from failing checks and TODO comments. Caps limit iterations, cost, and wall clock. A human-approval node pauses the run until you approve or reject. The editor is a separate canvas from the task router. Closing either editor with unsaved edits asks you to keep editing, discard, or save.
